Position Overview

The primary responsibility of the Vice President, Global Process Innovation is to lead the Global Process Innovation center to identify, evaluate, patent, pilot, and implement innovations that improve guest experiences, drive efficiencies, and enhance controls.

All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Las Vegas Sands Corp.’s policies, practices, and procedures. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead the global process innovation organization
  • Establish robust but lean processes to identify, evaluate, fund, pilot, patent, and implement appropriate innovations
  • Oversee process mapping to enhance guest experiences and drive efficiencies
  • Together with the ED - Process Innovation Engineering, identify emerging innovations and determine its applicability for our business
  • Filter innovations and determine business cases including funding requirements and return on investments
  • Develop innovations with external parties
  • Patent innovations
  • Create global process innovation roadmaps with input from properties and business units
  • Coordinate and communicate with associated properties and business unites to ensure alignment
  • Oversee pilots to evaluate process innovations
  • Implement tested process innovations with firm timelines and within approved budgets
  • Establish a repository of process innovation knowledge and lessons learned
  • Lead the Global Process Innovation Steering Committee
  • Manage senior executive communication (e.g. regular reports)
  • Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 21 years of age.
  • Proof of authorization to work in the United States
  • Bachelors’ Degree required ideally in industrial, mechanical, or electrical engineering
  • MBA preferred, with some background in data analytics
  • Minimum of 10 years of business, innovation or engineering leadership experience is required
  • Must have experience with process improvements
  • Ideally has worked previously in technology or engineering organizations in leadership positions
  • Strong project management and organizational excellence skills
  • Ability to travel
  • Ability to work across multiple cultures and global teams
