Position Overview:

Provides friendly, excellent service to all guests by escorting them to their respective seats in the showroom according to information listed on admittance tickets.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Greet customer and escort them to their respective table and seat them in the showroom.
  • Handle and solve any concerns and questions from customers.
  • Satisfy guests in improving their seats when requested by guests.
  • Monitor cocktail servers to ensure excellent customer service are provided every time.
  • Reconcile ticket sales with accounting and beverage.
  • Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to departmental and company policies.

Company Standards of Conduct

All The Venetian Resort Team Members are expected to conduct and carry themselves in a professional manner at all times. Team Members are required to observe the Company’s standards, work requirements and rules of conduct.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 18 years of age
  • Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
  • High school Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a positive/upbeat fashion utilizing English, both in oral and written form.
  • Have interpersonal skills with focused attention to guest needs to deal effectively with all business contacts.
  • Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to Company appearance standards.
  • Maintain consistent adherence to the Venetian and Palazzo Unmatched Guest Service Standards.
  • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. Understanding of box office operations, ticketing systems, call center operations.
  • Must have at least 6 months usher and/or customer service experience.
  • Previous experience in a 4 or 5 star resort is preferred.
  • Work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment.
  • Be able to work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to CRT fatigue, noise, dust, cigarette smoke, and be able to access all areas of the property.
