Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years Human Resources training experience required.
- Previous experience conducting supervisor/management training preferred.
- Minimum 2 years project management, public speaking and research/instructional design skills required.
- Experience in a major resort casino preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or PHR/SPHR designation, preferred.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles, performance consulting, training facilitation and evaluation and curriculum research and design preferred.
- Must possess advanced skill level teaching Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint classes.
- Must be able to work with others, communicate well, give direction, review the work of others, and provide guidance and counsel when needed to achieve department goals and objectives.
- Must maintain a positive attitude toward work and interface with hotel guests in a congenial and polite manner.
- Must be able to address stressful situations with clients with dignity and the utmost tact and politeness.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift or carry a minimum of 20 pounds, unassisted, in the performance of specific tasks assigned.
- Work in a fast-paced, results-oriented and ever-changing environment.
- Able to maintain composure under pressure and consistently meet deadlines with internal and external customers and contacts.
- Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude while dealing effectively with guests, management, team members, and outside contacts.
