Position Overview

The primary responsibility of the Supervisor – Corporate Contracts & Forensic Audit is to assist in the management and execution of reviews and audits of contracts and company credit card transactions. This includes ensuring the proper set-up of accounting and contract terms within the P2P system and acting as a main point of contact between operations and finance teams. This position will also analyze company credit card programs and transactions to ensure compliance with company policies. 
All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Las Vegas Sands Corp.’s policies, practices, and procedures.  
 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Review complex contract terms for correct accounting and set-up in the P2P system
  • Identify issues and root causes, recommend improved internal controls and business processes, and ensure that corrective action plans are developed
  • Monitor and enforce the compliance of the company’s policies and procedures through audits and analytics
  • Manages the staff responsible for performing audits of expense reports and contracts
  • Develop and distribute monthly and quarterly executive management reports, including policy exceptions/violations, spend analytics, ad-hoc reports and other reports as requested
  • Educate and provide guidance to Team Members on the P2P process and the company’s related policies and procedures to prevent repetitive findings 
  • Partner with procurement and compliance to provide recommendations regarding improving controls and updating policies, based on audit findings
  • Assist with the implementation of new WorkDay expense system and educate Team Members on new system and company policies 
  • Audit company credit card transactions and expense reports in the WorkDay expense system to ensure transactions comply with company policies and procedures
  • Identify, and clearly define, forensic issues and root causes, recommend improved internal controls, business processes, and ensure that corrective action plans are developed
  • Resolve and communicate audit exceptions to management, HR and Compliance, as necessary
  • Provide guidance and coaching to the Forensic Audit team to facilitate the completion of investigations and developing their investigation skills
  • Perform a variety of accounting duties which includes assisting the A/P and Corporate Accounting department as needed, which includes managing staff performing A/P related functions
  • This position will have access to sensitive company data and must keep such information confidential

Minimum Qualifications

  • 21 years of age.
  • Proof of authorization to work in the United States.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain any certification or license, as required by law or policy  
  • 4 years of related work experience in accounting, accounts payable, auditing or finance
  • Ability to present forensic findings in an objective and unbiased manner
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while still working effectively within a team and in a cross functional environment
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Adaptability to differing cultural and business environments
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Experience with Ariba preferred
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in spoken and written form. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience. 
  • Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
     

Physical Requirements

Must be able to:

  • Lift or carry 20 pounds, unassisted, in the performance of specific tasks, as assigned.
  • Physically access all areas of the property and drive areas with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Maintain composure under pressure and consistently meet deadlines with internal and external customers and contacts.
  • Ability to interact appropriately and effectively with guests, management, other team members, and outside contacts.

  • Work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, CRT, noise, dust, and cigarette smoke. 
  • Work remotely and in the office when required
