The primary responsibility of the Sr Manager – Process Engineering is to provide expert leadership in mapping business process workflows across the Company with goals and objectives set in driving innovation to achieve operational effectiveness, efficiencies and excellence in all facets of the business by working in close partnerships with the Company’s executives, operational and industry leaders and others.
All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Las Vegas Sands Corp.’s policies, practices, and procedures.
- Become familiar with all aspects of the Company’s global operations.
- Map operational workflows to identify innovation and operational efficiency opportunities.
- Develop and lead process design or improvement initiatives utilizing expertise for various business groups and providing appropriate analysis.
- Apply various process improvements and quality management techniques to validate innovation and process improvement opportunities.
- Utilize data and statistical analysis techniques to establish priorities and to measure the efficacy of process innovation and improvement programs.
- Complete integrated process analysis, identifying deficiencies in procedures or controls and recommending relevant solution options.
- Develop and maintain tools, systems and programs to further enhance and strengthen the process innovation function.
- Lead, manage and conduct time-and-motion studies as appropriate.
- Develop and maintain metrics reporting to appropriately measure and determine effectiveness of operational performance.
- Consult with leaders to understand, influence, adapt analysis and create alternatives for consideration.
- Influence others to adopt a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job.

- 21 years of age.
- Proof of authorization to work in the United States.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Process Engineering or related discipline; Master or PhD preferred.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming Control Board registration and any other certification or license, as required by law or policy.
- 7 years of process engineering or other relevant experience; 10+ years preferred.
- Large hotel, hospitality, gaming resort experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Six Sigma, Kaizen or other process/quality improvement techniques and methodologies.
- Demonstrated expertise in leading Kaizen projects and mapping operational workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges.
- Experience utilizing databases, data visualization and statistical-analysis applications (Tableau, Minitab, R, MySQL).
- Ability to work with various technical and functional teams across the organization.
- Motivated self-starter who can work independently in a fast paced, ambiguous environment
- Demonstrated completion of projects to improve operational efficacy and measured the impact to the business using KPIs or statistical analysis.
- Strong attention to details and excellent problem solving skills.
- Strong technical and analytical skills to analyze various business problems.

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.

- Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
