Position Overview

The primary responsibility of the Sr Analyst – HRIS is to perform day to day system management, provide HRIS process and configuration support to HR and Payroll teams.
All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Las Vegas Sands Corp.’s policies, practices, and procedures.  

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • System support for day-to-day end user & HR user issue resolution
  • Assist with monitoring and managing integrations
  • To provide HRIS process and configuration support to HR and payroll teams
  • Manage and respond to LOA system interactions
  • Support compliance training processes in Workday
  • Generating various HRIS reports as required by leadership
  • Support quarterly access audits, self-assessment controls and Hire2Retire controls
  • Provide HRIS support for projects and corporate initiatives
  • Open and manage cases utilizing Workday Customer Center
  • Workday Release management and regression testing
  • Research Workday releases and identify new features for adoption
  • Safety is an essential function of this job.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 21 years of age.
  • Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain any other certification or license, as required by law or policy.  
  • Prior exposure in at least 2 or more HR business areas with focus on system aspects of support, Recruiting & Onboarding, HCM processes, data and transaction management, Compensation, Benefits, Goals/Performance and Learning
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, OneNote, Access) is strongly desired.
  • Experience with enterprise HR management systems preferred (i.e., Workday, PeopleSoft, SAP SuccessFactors, ADP).
  • Must be able to work with others, communicate well, give direction, review the work of others, and provide guidance and counsel when needed to achieve department goals and objectives. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and interact appropriately and effectively with management, other Team Members and outside contacts of different backgrounds and levels of experience. 
  • Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

  • Work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, CRT, noise, dust, and cigarette smoke.
