Position Overview

The primary responsibility of the Sr Analyst – HRIS is to manage the administration and processes of the talent acquisition and learning management systems. The Sr Analyst – HRIS serves as the primary point of contact for user support, reporting and timely execution of the system enhancements and maintenance tasks.

All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Las Vegas Sands Corp.’s policies, practices, and procedures. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for day-to-day operation and administration of the talent acquisition and learning management systems enabling the smooth execution of employee life cycle transactions and organizational data quality and integrity.
  • Execute transactions in support of testing activities related to enhancement projects and routine system upgrades.
  • Provide expert level guidance to training administrators in support of the Company’s learning management activities.
  • Fulfill requests for maintenance of system security roles and assignments
  • Prioritize work based on management direction and understanding of priorities from the business. 
  • Assist HR in utilizing technology and participate in regular training of users on current systems, introduction of new products or system upgrades.
  • Identify issues with system configuration and make recommendations for improvement of system functionality.
  • Maintain subject matter understanding of assigned system modules’ best practices and support the organization in the understanding and execution of best practices.
  • Pro-actively identify issues and resolve and/or report to vendors and senior level team members for resolution.
  • Build standard and custom reports to support business operations.  Develop queries (with varying level of complexities) & reporting integrating multiple sources of data.  Train others on basic reporting issues and needs.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation, including procedural manuals, HR department procedure/policy manuals, and other related documents.
  • Performs set-up and maintenance of supporting system artifacts and security access.
  • Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • 21 years of age.
  • Proof of authorization to work in the United States.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a relative field.
  • 5+ years of experience managing and supporting large-scale HRIS.
  • Prior HRIS system administration and support in the areas of talent acquisition, learning management or performance management is required.  Previous experience with SuccessFactors HRIS is strongly desirable and preferred.
  • Prior system administration and support of a global HRIS is a plus.
  • Strong working knowledge of SuccessFactors Employee Central is strongly desirable and preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of talent acquisition, learning management and/or performance management systems’ functionality, processes and understanding of best practices.
  • Experience with process improvement; continually exploring opportunities to improve the processes (technical and non-technical) to enhance quality and increase productivity.
  • Knowledge and experience with developing queries and reports using reporting tools
  • Highly proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Experience in creating SCORM and/or AIC content using tools like Adobe Captivate is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
  • Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

  • Ability to interact appropriately and effectively with guests, management, other team members, and outside contacts.
  • Ability for prolonged periods of time to walk, stand, stretch, bend and kneel.
  • Work in a fast-paced and busy environment.
  • Work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, CRT, noise, dust, and cigarette smoke.
