Position Overview:

The primary responsibility of the Specialist – Online Marketing Campaign is to support all activities related to creating and deploying various forms of campaigns for The Venetian Resort’s email database intended to increase occupancy levels and revenue. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian Resort’s policies, practices, and procedures. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing a productive relationship with email vendor (ESP) as key client point-of-contact to maximize vendor value.
  • Explore additional functionality within our email marketing tools in order to drive additional profit.
  • Manage all aspects of campaign production and deployment; develop and design HTML email campaigns maintain ESP database, approval routing process, testing and deployment process and deployment calendar planning, cross-departmental and cross-functional interaction and collaboration, monitoring email and landing page traffic and post-campaign reporting.
  • Regularly research new technologies/best practices and incorporate them into email programs.
  • Create and maintain rigorous testing program to ensure optimal performance of email channel.
  • Analyze data by campaign and segment to quickly key in on areas of improvement.
  • Assist in the strategy behind campaigns and the creation of new marketing opportunities.
  • Maintaining a competitive analysis of competitor emails.
  • Work effectively with others and other departments to streamline current processes and procedures.
  • Safety is an essential function of this job.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 21 years of age.
  • Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with casino/hotel systems preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or 2 years equivalent experience.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Nevada Gaming Control Board registration and any other certification or license, as required by law or policy. 
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, content management systems, and digital marketing.

Additional Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Ability to integrate traditional communications strategies into online media tactics, knowledge and experience with digital media, online tools, and the use of analytics tools to measure traffic and conversion preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and MS Office products.
  • Must be very detail oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
  • Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to:

  • Lift or carry 20 pounds, unassisted, in the performance of specific tasks, as assigned.
  • Physically access all areas of the property and drive areas with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Maintain composure under pressure and consistently meet deadlines with internal and external customers and contacts.
  • Ability to interact appropriately and effectively with guests, management, other team members, and outside contacts.
  • Ability for prolonged periods of time to walk, stand, stretch, bend and kneel.
  • Work in a fast-paced and busy environment.
  • Work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, CRT, noise, dust, and cigarette smoke.
