Position Overview:
The primary responsibility of the Account Specialist I is to prepare and manage convention/group invoices and other key aspects for Small to Medium Groups. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian Resort’s policies, practices, and procedures.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Provide customer with accurate and timely invoices, statements and schedules that are in accordance with departmental deadlines and standards.
· Research and resolve client inquiries while maintaining positive and professional client relations.
· Facilitate key elements within contracts including calculation of discounts, comps and rebates.
· Responsible for collecting funds post event.
· Ability to communicate effectively in a positive/upbeat fashion utilizing English both in oral and written form.
· Must be able to multi-task with emphasis on time management
· Ability to read and interpret sales contracts
· Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job
· Performs other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
- LMS Experience preferred
- 1 Years experience in this position or related field is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office/Excel
Experience in Showcase and Cognos preferred
