Position Overview:

The primary responsibility of the Grazie Specialist is to handle all guest inquires and transactions regarding the Grazie Loyalty Program while providing excellent guest service. The Grazie Specialist assists guest with enrollments, Grazie cards, point redemption, comps, promotions and performs any other related duties as assigned. All dutied are to be performed in accordance with departmental and the Venetian Casino Resort’s Policies, practices, and procedures.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent guest service and explain the benefits of joining Grazie, including but not limited to rewards, promotions and discounts.
  • Enroll guests into the Grazie Loyalty Program, create new member accounts and issue replacement Grazie cards to guests if required.
  • Verify and issue Resort, Poker comps, and Slot credit/match play redemption.
  • Merge Grazie accounts and set-up and re-set account PINs.
  • Upgrade/downgrade accounts and log changes accordingly.
  • Evaluate guest play and issue comps appropriately – (discretionary comp)
  • Run the daily slot tournament.
  • Link Grazie accounts to Hotel reservations so the status points can be earned during the guest’s vist.
  • Provide Casino Hosts, VIP, and Hotel Operations with information regarding casino guests.
  • Handle guest complaints, comments and card discrepancies according to company policies.
  • Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 21 years of age, proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States, and Gaming license or the ability to obtain one.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in a guest service role.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a positive /upbeat fashion utilizing English both in oral and written form.
  • Interpersonal skills with focused attention to guest needs to deal effectively with all business contacts.
  • Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to the Venetian | Palazzo appearance standards.
  • Maintain consistent adherence to the Venetian | Palazzo Unmatched Guest Service Standards.
  • Work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment.
  • Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude while dealing effectively with guest, management, team members, and outside contacts while working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong computer skills, including Casino/Hotel systems and MS Office knowledge, especially Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to work indoors and be exposed to various environment factors such as, but not limited to CRT fatigue, noise, dust and cigarette smoke.
  • Ability to lift or carry a minimum of 20 pounds unassisted in the performance of specific tasks assigned.
  • Must be able to frequently move freely about the office, maintain manual dexterity to access computer via computer Keyboard and operate office equipment, such as telephones, copiers, fax machine, etc.
  • Withstand various activities such as frequent walking, sitting for long periods and withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending and kneeling without restriction.
