Position Overview:

The primary responsibility of the Email Marketing Specialist is to create and handle the deployment of email marketing campaigns for our FIT guests in an effort to drive awareness, engagement and transactions.

All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian | The Palazzo Casino Resort’s policies, practices, and procedures.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Building email campaigns, database selection, HTML presentation and quality assurance of all outbound campaigns.
  • Performs day-to-day email marketing activities including, but not limited to, email campaign set-up, scheduling, testing, tagging and deployment of one-time, recurring, triggered and dynamic content-driven campaigns.
  • Troubleshoots technical issues related to HTML templates, list segmentation and other aspects of email execution, as required.
  • Stays current of and recommends email marketing best practices with coding and design testing of email campaigns.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction, while also functioning and contributing as part of a team
  • Create and maintain rigorous testing program to ensure optimal performance of email channel
  • Analyze data by campaign to quickly key in on needs of improvement
  • Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 21 years of age.
  • Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related discipline.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming Control Board license and any other certification or license, as required by law or policy. 
  • At least 2+ years email marketing or digital marketing experience, including strategy, implementation, and analytics and reporting.
  • Knowledge of best practices for email creative and templates, segmentation, dynamic content, testing methodologies.
  • Must be able to build and deploy email campaigns, determine target audience and analyze email performance. The ideal candidate must have a proven proficiency in written and oral communications (i.e., copywriting, editing).
  • This position requires a medium to advanced level of HTML, Photoshop, Excel and Powerpoint and a working knowledge of analytics
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in spoken and written form.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
  • Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

  • Ability for prolonged periods of time to walk, stand, stretch, bend and kneel.
  • Work in a fast-paced and busy environment.
  • Work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, CRT, noise, dust, and cigarette smoke.
