Position Overview

The primary responsibility of the Administrator - Corporate IT is to support SVP – Corporate IT in accomplishing the goals and objectives of the department by working on special projects and/or assignments as well as other departmental supporting duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Las Vegas Sands Corp.’s policies, practices, and procedures. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work on special Corporate IT projects and/or assignments, including maintaining confidentiality of those assignments
  • Provide thorough and accurate research and analysis of projects
  • Provide departmental support as assigned
  • Draft presentations based on outlines and high level overviews with management; ability to include insight and research relevant to our business
  • Update presentations / reports based on input / feedback
  • Assist other Corporate IT executives with any special needs / requests
  • Prepare meeting arrangements, manage meeting schedules, draft correspondences, manage confidential documents, generate departmental reports, prepare requests for disbursements
  • Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 21 years of age.
  • Proof of authorization to work in the United States
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming Control Board Registration and any other certification or license, as required by law or policy.
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience at a professional level to include exposure to Corporate IT preferred.
  • Prior demonstrated work experience handling confidential and sensitive data as part of daily job routine
  • Superior attention to detail and commitment to extraordinary business partner relationships
  • Strong communication (written and verbal), presentation and customer service skills
  • Advanced level skill with Microsoft Office suite, specifically Power Point and Excel
  • Previous professional interaction with all levels of an organization and with external contacts
  • Must be dependable, trustworthy and cordial to Team Members.
  • Able to prioritize and coordinate multiple daily tasks and work within tight deadlines.
  • Strong organization skills, ability to adapt to changing priorities. Excellent follow through.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
  • Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to:

  • Physically access all areas of the property and drive areas with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Maintain composure under pressure and consistently meet deadlines with internal and external customers and contacts.
  • Ability to interact appropriately and effectively with guests, management, other team members, and outside contacts.
  • Ability for prolonged periods of time to walk, stand, stretch, bend and kneel.
  • Work in a fast-paced and busy environment.
  • Work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, CRT, noise, dust, and cigarette smoke.
  • Maintain manual dexterity to access computer via computer keyboard and operate office equipment, such as telephones, copiers, fax machine, etc.
