Position Overview:

The primary responsibility of the Senior Product Manager is to build products from existing ideas and develop new ideas based on industry experience, best practices and new learnings gained through contact with customers, prospects and internal users. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian Resort’s policies, practices, and procedures. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Drives development and optimization of the brand’s booking engine, websites, mobile applications and other projects aimed at achieving business objectives and enhancing our digital guest experience.
  • Focuses primarily on managing and developing enhancements for The Venetian Resort websites and online booking experience as well as working with the Director - Product to enhance other digital products.
  • Works with internal information technology resources and external partners to develop technology roadmaps and release processes and schedules.
  • Assists in the development and delivery against the product roadmap as defined by the Digital Marketing and eCommerce leadership teams.
  • Oversees product life cycle from strategic planning, execution, deployment and analysis.
  • Works closely with Digital Marketing, IT and internal business units to capture business requirements and use cases to turn them into products that can be measured and optimized on a continual basis.
  • Specifies market requirements for current and future products through market research, session data and competitive analysis supported by on-going testing and optimization programs.
  • Delivers wireframes and product recommendations to development teams aimed at driving world class enhancements.
Additional Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Creates and manages product roadmaps associated with owned product areas and other assigned projects.
  • Interfaces with vendors and internal company resources to communicate business product needs and priorities from a property perspective.
  • Manages booking engine content, merchandising and related operations.
  • Communicates with all areas of the company, working with internal and external partners to identify and define technology needs based on product and marketing business requirements.
  • Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products.
  • Working knowledge of Python, R, SQL, SAS, Visual Basic.
  • Working knowledge of data reporting and visualization tools (Klipfolio, Tableau or Spotfire, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
  • Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 21 years of age.
  • Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain any certification or license, as required by law or policy. 
  • 3 years of experience in product management experience required.
  • 5 years of experience in online business/eCommerce environment.
  • 3 years of experience in analytics experience regarding online business/eCommerce environment
  • Demonstrated experience in the development and maintenance of content management systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in web analytics and reporting tools.
  • Demonstrated experience in modern web development.
Physical Requirements:

Must be able to:

  • Lift or carry 10 pounds, unassisted, in the performance of specific tasks, as assigned.
  • Physically access all areas of the property and drive areas with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Maintain composure under pressure and consistently meet deadlines with internal and external customers and contacts.
  • Ability to interact appropriately and effectively with guests, management, other team members, and outside contacts.
  • Ability for prolonged periods of time to walk, stand, stretch, bend and kneel.
  • Work in a fast-paced and busy environment.
  • Work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, CRT, noise, dust, and cigarette smoke.
