Position Overview

The primary responsibility of the Sr Manager – Corporate Communications is to drive the company’s brand identity and governance, including management of all visual identity elements for company, the corporate brand style guide, corporate website, and visual/brand identity elements for all company internal and external communications. The Sr Manager will support corporate narrative and story-telling against department goals with execution of a visual narrative through corporate communications channels (external communications/media relations, web, internal communications, social, blog and newsletter).  Activities include creation and management of visual brand identity collateral, corporate program visual brand identities and other programs that ensure corporate brand sustainability and drive corporate reputation. This is a corporate position and will be working with all Las Vegas Sands Corp. Properties.
All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Las Vegas Sands Corp.’s policies, practices, and procedures.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Work with Executive Director – Corporate Communications to create visual narrative around department goals and develop corporate brand identity, usage guidelines and global governance practices.
  • Execute corporate narrative through visual story-telling across all corporate communications channels as well as executing department assignments and projects, meeting deadlines related to those assignments.
  • Focus on achieving the goals or objectives of the department using available resources (staff and budgetary), including enhancing department effectiveness and managing resources to eliminate excess cost or unnecessary expenditures.  
  • Directly responsible for executing key visual components of company initiatives such as Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs, awards and recognition programs, communications campaigns, annual reports and other collateral/visual storytelling programs.
  • Responsible for managing global communications channels, including corporate collateral, corporate website, and other corporate programs and projects.
  • Maintain global corporate brand guidelines, best practices and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Create relationships and serve as a corporate communications representative with various company departments to coordinate and oversee visual needs of departments, including design and execution of visual needs.
  • Oversee visual development of a quarterly newsletter covering corporate news, such as highlights of LVS/property Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity, global company and property developments and awards/honors for global executive distribution. 
  • Create and oversee all corporate brand material and visual communications, including assets such as the corporate photo/video library. 
  • Work closely with Executive Director – Corporate Communications to create, layout, print and distribute annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) report. 
  • Support social media strategy with visual story-telling as executed by department coordinator and digital agency.
  • Develop visual content for editorial planning calendar and develop the company blog and other social media channels visually.
  • Facilitate the development and creation of department-relevant reports including website metrics and analytics.
  • Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 21 years of age.
  • Proof of authorization to work in the United States 
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • BS degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field required.  Master's Degree preferred.  Consideration will be given for demonstrated experience in lieu of a degree. 
  • 8+ years prior experience working in visual communications; public relations, advertising or marketing communications.
  • Previous corporate PR or advertising agency experience is preferred. 
  • Experience with designing a communications strategy and executing on it effectively.
  • Ability to solve complex problems; lead cross-organizational efforts; build relationships across organization boundaries.
  • Demonstrated experience in writing and delivering captivating communications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to flex based on the needs of diverse audiences.
  • Strategic thinking, creativity, flexibility and ability to work in a changing environment; resourcefulness and resiliency.
  • Attention to detail, commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience. 
  • Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
