Position Overview:

The primary responsibility of the Paiza Coordinator is to coordinate Guest interaction with Paiza Club and to provide the highest level of unmatched service available. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian and The Palazzo Resort Hotel Casino’s policies, practices, and procedures.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide the highest level of unmatched service to the Paiza Club Guest.
  • Be proficient in computer knowledge of ACSC, LMS, Outlook, Excel, Word and e-mail and internet functions.
  • Works in an appropriate non-hazardous manner avoiding self injury and unsafe work methods.
  • Other duties as directed by management.
  • Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Interaction between Paiza Club and various other departments to coordinate Guest requirements.
  • Be familiar with all aspects of services provided by the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino.
  • Maintain the highest level of professionalism; be courteous and efficient in arranging any requirement needed while maintaining confidentiality and privacy of the Guest and fellow Team Members.
  • Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

All Venetian | Palazzo Team Members are expected to conduct and carry themselves in a professional manner at all times. Team Members are required to observe the Company’s standards, work requirements and rules of conduct.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 21 years of age.
  • Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States
  • High school Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a positive/upbeat fashion utilizing English, both in oral and written form.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming Registration, a Heatlh Card ( food Handler's card) and any other certification or license, as required by law or policy. 
  • Must possess interpersonal skills with focused attention to guest needs to deal effectively with all business contacts.
  • Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to Company appearance standards.
  • Must be able to address stressful situations with clients with dignity and the utmost tact and politeness.
  • Must be able to work with others, communicate well, give direction, review the work of others, and provide guidance and counsel when needed to achieve department goals and objectives.
  • Must maintain a positive attitude toward work and interface with hotel guests in a congenial and polite manner.
  • Maintain consistent adherence to the Venetian and Palazzo Unmatched Guest Service Standards.
  • Must have at least one year prior experience in hotel, or high end gaming salon and/or casino.
  • LMS experience and ACSC experience is preferred.
  • Work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment.
  • Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to:

  • Lift or carry a minimum of 20 pounds, unassisted, in the performance of specific tasks assigned.
  • Must be able to touch and handle supplies in a safe and non-hazardous manner, maintaining proper hygiene, cleanliness, and disposal methods.
  • Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude while dealing effectively with guests, management, team members, and outside contacts while working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
  • Must be able to frequently move freely about the office, maintain manual dexterity to access computer via computer keyboard and operate office equipment, such as telephones, copiers, fax machine, etc.,
  • Withstand various activities such as frequent walking, sitting for long periods and withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending and kneeling without restriction.
  • Must be able to work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to CRT fatigue, noise, dust, cigarette smoke, and be able to access all areas of the property.
