Position Overview:

The primary responsibility of the Front Drive Manager will be to direct and assist traffic on the Venetian and Palazzo Front Drives. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian | The Palazzo Casino Resort’s policies, practices, and procedures.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Key Responsibilities
    • Manage the flow and Guest Experience of the Venetian Drive
    • Manage the flow and Guest Experience of the Palazzo Drive
    • Supervise all Guest Services positions located on the Front Drives
    • Ensure no unauthorized vehicles are on either the Venetian or Palazzo drives
  • Key Processes
    • Provide unmatched service to all guests entering property and maintaining a seamless traffic flow at all times. 
  • Financial
    • Focus on achieving the goals or objectives of the department using available resources (staff and budgetary).
  • Leadership
    • Organize and ensure proper staffing of the taxi areas
  • Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 21 years of age.
  • Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a positive/upbeat fashion utilizing English; both in oral and written form.
  • Must possess interpersonal skills with focused attention to guest needs to deal effectively with all business contacts.
  • Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to VCR appearance standards.
  • Maintain consistent adherence to the VCR Unmatched Guest Service Standards.
  • Must be available to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Knowledge of a second language is preferred. 
  • Applicants must also be adaptable to scheduling needs.
  • Must be able to work well with others and communicate well. 
  • Past experience in Guest Services or Traffic Control is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work in a fast-paced, results-oriented and ever-changing environment
  • Able to maintain composure under pressure and consistently meet deadlines with internal and external customers and contacts
  • Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude while dealing effectively with guests, management, team members, and outside contacts
  • Applicants must be able to stand and work outdoors for their entire shift. 
  • Must be comfortable in areas of condensed stationary and moving traffic for extended periods of time.
