Position Overview

The primary responsibility of the Manager – Corporate Office is to provide daily support for the maintenance and management of the company’s corporate offices. Facilitate key tasks and procedures.
All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Las Vegas Sands Corp.’s policies, practices, and procedures. All Las Vegas Sands Corp. Team Members are expected to conduct and carry themselves in a professional manner at all times. Team Members are required to observe the Company’s standards, work requirements and rules of conduct.   

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop, lead, and manage a staff of office clerks by providing the tools, information, and feedback to maximize their contributions.
  • Provide support in connection to implementation of physical office space:
    • Select/Bid Moving Companies
    • Organize Existing Storage Area Clean-Out
    • Determine Temporary Storage/Move Issues
    • Furniture Procurement 
    • Oversee Vendor Bidding Process
    • Organize Delivery/Install Process
    • Vendor Procurement 
    • Oversee Bidding and Award Process
    • Specialty
    • Contractor Coordination
  • Oversee day-to-day operations:
    • Maintenance
    • Mailing
    • Supplies
    • Equipment
    • Bills
    • Errands
    • Shopping
  • Provide general support to visitors
  • Schedule/Coordinate meetings and appointments
  • Organize the office layout
  • Manage and maintain Office/Kitchen Supplies Stock and Equipment
  • Manage & maintain the office condition and arrange necessary repairs
  • Partner with HR to update and maintain office policies as necessary
  • Organize office operations and procedures
  • Liaise with facility management vendors, including cleaning, catering and security services
  • Manage office G&A budget, ensure accurate and timely reporting
    • Maintain an updated record of invoices from external partners (e.g. suppliers, insurance agents, security guards)
  • Address employees’ queries regarding office management issues 
  • Handle complaints and troubleshoot emergencies
  • Plan in-house or off-site activities such as parties, celebrations, and conferences
  • Supervise administrative staff and divide responsibilities to ensure performance
  • Train, supervise and support office staff, including receptionists and security guards 
  • Schedule shifts
  • Ensure proper mail distribution
  • Ensure company’s policies and security requirements are met
  • Ensure compliance with state health and safety regulations
  • Arrange for regular maintenance of equipment and internal systems (e.g. heating system, alarms, security cameras)
  • Check rooms and furniture to identify needs for repairs or renovations
  • Design and oversee the schedule for cleaning and disinfecting the building
  • Monitor activities that happen outside the building, such as proper waste disposal and recycling
  • Coordinate office and parking space allocation
  • Perform job duties in a safe manner. 
  • Attend work as scheduled on a consistent and regular basis.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Proof of authorization to work in the United States.
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain any certification or license, as required by law or policy.  
  • 5+ years of relevant experience 
  • Ability to perform well under pressure.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask effectively and efficiently.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in a professional office environment.
  • Experience with various procurement systems.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both in spoken and written form. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and interact appropriately with management, other Team Members and outside contacts of different backgrounds and levels of experience. 

Physical Requirements

Must be able to:

  • Lift or carry 20 pounds, unassisted, in the performance of specific tasks, as assigned.
  • Physically access assigned workspace areas with or without reasonable accommodation. Work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, CRT, noise, and dust.
  • Utilize laptop and standard keyboard to perform essential functions of the job.
