Position Overview

The primary responsibility of the Manager – Aviation Financial Planning & Analysis is to oversee multiple, simultaneous and advanced analytical projects which provide concise, accurate, actionable and strategic recommendations to Aviation senior management and LVSC operational management. This individual will also be responsible for the on-going operational and management aspects of the Aviation Finance team.  This individual will become the interface for the interactions with Interface Operations. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Las Vegas Sands Corp.’s policies, practices, and procedures.  

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and automate key analytical reports for the Aviation operating departments.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses including, but not exclusive to, aircraft performance, financial modeling and statistical analyses.
  • Drive the annual budget and forecasting process for Sands Aviation and related Interface Operations requirements.
  • Provide timely, analytical support for requests at the direction of department heads and senior management.
  • Convert key financial and operating data into strategic and value-added recommendations.
  • Prepare monthly reporting requirements and assist Aviation Controller with ad-hoc requests.
  • Ability to effectively manage projects with multiple internal and external groups.
  • Execute reports and query data from various systems as requested for the department.
  • Being on call as required is an essential function of this job.
  • Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 21 years of age.
  • Proof of authorization to work in the United States

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution, preferably within the fields of finance, hospitality, accounting, or information technology. MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of work experience in financial analysis, information technology, project accounting, or a related field at positions with increasing levels of responsibility required.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in spoken and written form.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
  • Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Must be able to:

  • Ability to interact appropriately and effectively with guests, management, other team members, and outside contacts.

  • Work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, CRT, noise, dust, and cigarette smoke.
