  • Provides unmatched service to guests at all times. Proactively seeks guest service opportunities to both internal and external guests.
  • Interacts with internal and external guests to make sure that all bar areas (from the waist down) are clean, presentable and inviting.
  • Responsible for trash removal from bars and restaurants in not only a timely manner but also in a manner which does not dull The Venetian and The Palazzo experience for the guests.
  • Must follow a cleaning schedule with little supervision.
  • Works in an appropriate non-hazardous manner avoiding self-injury and unsafe work methods.
  • Understands proper hand washing procedures
  • Knowledge of correct cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces, according to OSHA regulations and hotel requirements.
  • Must be regularly checked by supervisor to ensure proper handling of equipment and proper lifting techniques.
  • Ability to complete supply order sheets accurately. Responsible for reporting maintenance deficiencies in a timely manner.
  • Provides accurate directions and information for guest inquires and is knowledgeable about all aspects of Venetian and Palazzo services, features, attractions, promotions and special events.
  • Provide a service or assistance to meet the needs of a guest, client or customer.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the bar areas comply with Clark County Health Codes and Venetian and Palazzo Standards.
  • Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 21+ years of age
  • Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States
  • High school Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a positive/upbeat fashion utilizing English, both in oral and written form.
  • Have interpersonal skills with focused attention to guest needs to deal effectively with all business contacts.
  • Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to Company appearance standards.
  • Maintain consistent adherence to the Venetian and Palazzo Unmatched Guest Service Standards.
  • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must possess a minimum of one year experience as a Food and Beverage Busser in a high volume setting required.
  • One year experience cleaning in a bar operation setting preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain Health, and TAM cards.
  • Have a basic knowledge of attractions/restaurants in the Las Vegas area and provided by the Venetian.
  • Must be detail oriented.


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift or carry a minimum of 50 pounds, unassisted, in the performance of specific tasks assigned.
  • Work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment.
  • Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude while dealing effectively with guests, management, team members, and outside contacts while working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
  • Withstand various activities such as frequent walking, sitting for long periods and withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending and kneeling without restriction.
  • Be able to work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to CRT fatigue, noise, dust, cigarette smoke, and be able to access all areas of the property.
  • Must maintain a positive attitude toward work and interface with hotel guests in a congenial and polite manner.
  • Must be able to address stressful situations with clients with dignity and the utmost tact and politeness.
  • Must be able to touch and handle supplies in a safe and non-hazardous manner, maintaining proper hygiene, cleanliness, and disposal methods.
