Position Overview:

The primary responsibility of the Analyst - IT Compliance is to support the Sr. IT Compliance Managers and Director of IT Business Administration in ensuring that the IT Department is in compliance with regulatory requirements, including; Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and Nevada Gaming Control Board regulations.  All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian | The Palazzo Casino Resort’s policies, practices, and procedures.  

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain IT Compliance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including the annual review and updating.
  • Participate in projects to identify regulatory requirements that need to be addressed.
  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly compliance audits and other scheduled audits as assigned.
  • Responsible for completion of quarterly and semi-annual IT compliance audits.
  • Assist with the SOX audit processes, including; auditing, documentation, and remediation.
  • Assist the Audit Services Group (ASG) with audit requests for documentation and remediation.
  • Provide advice, assistance, and management to the Nevada Gaming License Registration process.
  • Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 21 years of age.
  • Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming Control Board Registration and any other certification or license, as required by law or policy.
  • 2+ years of experience within IT Compliance or a related field.
  • Strong working knowledge of Gaming Control Board and SOX requirements.
  • Experience in IT systems audit preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in Information Technology network, security, programs and operations preferred.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in spoken and written form.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
  • Must have strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, etc.).
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem solving capabilities.
  • Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
