Position Overview

The primary responsibility of the Analyst – HRIS is to manage the administration and processes of the Talent, Learning and Performance Management using the SuccessFactors system. Serve as primary point of contact for delivery of operational reporting and timely execution of the routine system maintenance tasks. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Las Vegas Sands Corp.’s policies, practices, and procedures. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for day to day operation of Talent Management System, enabling the smooth execution of employee life cycle transactions and organizational data quality and integrity.
  • Execute transactions in support of testing activities related to enhancement projects and routine system upgrades.
  • Provide expert level guidance to training administrators in support of LVS learning management activities.
  • Fulfill requests for maintenance of system security roles and assignments
  • Prioritize work based on management direction and understanding of priorities from the business. 
  • Serve as a super user of Talent Management System for the business.
  • Provide direct support to HR professionals at a Tier 2 level.
  • Assist HR staff in utilizing technology and participate in regular training of staff on current systems, introduction of new products or system upgrades.
  • Identify issues with system configuration and make recommendations for improvement of system functionality.
  • Maintain deep understanding of Talent Management best practices and support the organization in the understanding and execution of best practices.
  • Pro-actively identify issues and resolve and/or report to vendors and senior level team members for resolution.
  • Build standard and custom reports from Talent Management System to support business operations.  Develop complex queries & reports integrating multiple sources of data.  Train others on basic reporting issues and needs.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation, including procedural manuals, HR department procedure/policy manuals, and other related documents.
  • Performs set-up and maintenance of supporting Talent Management system artifacts and security access.
  • Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 21 years of age.
  • Proof of authorization to work in the United States
  • Undergraduate College Degree or equivalent experience in a relative field
  • 1-3 years of Talent Management experience using SuccessFactors Learning Management and Performance Modules. 
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Functional Talent Management System administration experience in an operational role required
  • General Talent Management process knowledge and understanding of best practices.
  • Experience with process improvement; continually exploring opportunities to improve the processes (technical and non-technical) to enhance quality and increase productivity
  • Knowledge and experience with developing queries and reports using reporting tools
  • Highly proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Experience with other SuccessFactors Modules including Employee Central Preferred.
  • Experience in creating SCORM and/or AIC content using tools like Adobe Captivate is preferred
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript preferred
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in spoken and written form.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
  • Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Must be able to:

  • Maintain composure under pressure and consistently meet deadlines with internal and external customers and contacts.
  • Ability to interact appropriately and effectively with guests, management, other team members, and outside contacts.
  • Ability for prolonged periods of time to walk, stand, stretch, bend and kneel.
  • Work in a fast-paced and busy environment.
  • Work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, CRT, noise, dust, and cigarette smoke.
