Position Overview:

The primary responsibility of the Ambassador - Grazie is to provide excellent guest service when assisting all Guests. Responsibilities include enrolling guests into the Grazie Loyalty Program both manually and through mobile units. Assist with all transactions at the Grazie Desks including but not limited to explaining all benefits, redeem points for slot credits and Resort Comps, Assist with various floor promotions.

All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian Resort’s policies, practices, and procedures. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for identifying un-carded Guests throughout the property and off property as needed.
  • Assist with all transactions at the Grazie Desks and with various floor promotions. 
  • Enroll guests into the Grazie Loyalty Program through mobile units and/or manual enrollments.
  • Print and issue replacement Cards to guests.
  • Must be willing to contact Guests for follow-up through phone calls or emails. 
  • Must be willing to perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the department.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly the benefits of the Grazie Loyalty Program.  Service guests in an efficient, friendly and professional manner.
  • Must be dependable; possess typing skills, outgoing personality. 
  • Role model the keys to “Unmatched Service” standards 100% of the time. 
  • Portray a positive attitude along with enthusiasm. 
  • Willing to alter schedule to meet the needs of the department.
  • Safety is an essential function of this job.
  • Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 21 years of age.
  • Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Nevada Gaming Control Board registration, Alcohol Awareness Card (TAM) and any other certification or license, as required by law or policy.
  • 2 years’ experience in guest service. 
  • Must have basic computer skills, and have an outgoing personality.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in spoken and written form.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
  • Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to:

  • Lift or carry 10 pounds, unassisted, in the performance of specific tasks, as assigned.
  • Physically access all areas of the property and drive areas with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Maintain composure under pressure and consistently meet deadlines with internal and external customers and contacts.
  • Ability to interact appropriately and effectively with guests, management, other team members, and outside contacts.
  • Ability for prolonged periods of time to walk, stand, stretch, bend and kneel.
  • Work in a fast-paced and busy environment.
  • Work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, CRT, noise, dust, and cigarette smoke.
