Position Overview

The primary responsibility of the Administrator - Corporate HR is to support the Corporate HR team in accomplishing the goals and objectives of the department, completing projects as assigned and assisting Corporate Team Members with policy and procedure inquiries. Additionally, the position will provide administrative support for the Corporate HR team.
All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Las Vegas Sands Corp.’s policies, practices, and procedures.  

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support administrative tasks for Corporate HR functions. 
  • Assist with the overall workflow of the department including candidate inquiries and follow ups.
  • Assist Corporate HR Sr Specialist with overall recruiting and onboarding workflow and special projects / requests as necessary. Ensure corporate onboarding initiative and candidate experience exceeds expectations.
  • Assist in the completion of departmental projects, as assigned. Projects will include preparing departmental deliverables such as PowerPoint presentations and periodic update reporting.
  • Maintain Outlook distribution lists and manage Outlook Calendars, as requested
  • Manage internal department onboarding details for Corporate HR new hires including office space/equipment/directory/etc. requests and setup.
  • Maintain organization charts.
  • Assist with the on-boarding of new Corporate Team Members, Suppliers, and Contractors as necessary
  • Coordinate Microsoft Teams and Conference Call accounts.
  • This position will assist and manage the complete pre-employment process for all new hires including administration of background check, drug testing, and any applicable required licensing ensuring all details are completed in a timely manner.
  • Safety is an essential function of this job.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 21 years of age.
  • Proof of authorization to work in the United States.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • At least 1-2 years of experience required in administrative or HR related field at a professional level.
  • Prior experience with ATS (applicant tracking systems) preferred
  • Previous professional interaction with all levels of an organization and with external contacts.
  • Superior attention to detail and commitment to extraordinary business partner relationships
  • Prior demonstrated work experience handling confidential and sensitive data as part of daily job routine
  • Must be dependable, trustworthy, and cordial to Team Members.
  • Able to prioritize and coordinate multiple daily tasks and work within tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) skills and customer service skills
  • Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to LVS appearance standards.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Working knowledge of recruiting platform in Workday preferred.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in spoken and written form. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and interact appropriately and effectively with management, other Team Members and outside contacts of different backgrounds and levels of experience. 
  • Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
