Position Overview:

The primary responsibility of the Project Manager - Marketing is to define and prioritize projects on market analyses, customer input, business unit needs, as well input from different segment managers. The Project Manager will manage projects from start to finish, and should be comfortable spearheading every phase: design, production, QA, and maintenance to execute timely delivery of quality products. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian | The Palazzo Casino Resort’s policies, practices, and procedures. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes internal client’s business requirements and define project specifications accordingly.
  • Evaluates overall project benefit and feasibility (i.e. ROI vs. LOE).
  • Ensures internal communication with the creative production, marketing, advertising, e-commerce and legal departments.
  • Participates in development, design and specs definition of the product or service offering.
  • Plans and manages internal and external resources.
  • Evaluates project budgets and ensure profitability on an ongoing basis.
  • Produces the project plans and presentations for marketing team and presents recommendations to internal clients.
  • Ensures project management and production (budget, deadlines, human and technical resources).

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 21 years of age.
  • Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have a minimum 5 years of project management or traffic manager experience.
  • Must have experience with implementations of workflow, case management or account management system.
  • Must possess strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a positive/upbeat fashion utilizing English both in oral and written form.
  • Interpersonal skills with focused attention to guest needs to deal effectively with all business contacts.
  • Must be able to work with others, communicate well, give direction, review the work of others, and provide guidance and counsel when needed to achieve department goals and objectives.
  • Must be able to work with a sense of urgency and have the ability to multitask many projects simultaneously while ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.
  • Maintains a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to The Venetian /Palazzo appearance standards.
  • Maintains consistent adherence to The Venetian/Palazzo Unmatched Guest Service Standards.

Physical Requirements:

  • Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude while dealing effectively with guests, management, team members, and outside contacts while working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
  • Must be able to frequently move freely about the office, maintain manual dexterity to access computer via computer keyboard and operate office equipment, such as telephones, copiers, fax machine, etc., withstand various activities such as frequent walking, sitting for long periods and withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending and kneeling without restriction.
  • Be able to work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to CRT fatigue, noise, dust, cigarette smoke, and be able to access all areas of the property.
